The 2012 GREEN Real Estate Summit will focus on sustainable operations and maintenance of existing buildings.

In addition to providing a forum to network and learn best green practices from other individuals in the commercial real estate industry, the Summit features educational seminars equipping attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to go green successfully.

Topic: The Science of Green

Description: The non-political "science" of green, ie this issues of climate change and the positive impact building operations can collectively have on the planet. While we have effectively addressed many of the "how-tos" in previous Summits, including governmental activity, ROI, tracking, etc., this session will be a step back to focus on some of the environmental "why" drivers that are the true motivators of green and sustainability initiatives.
