Michael Garrison
Senior Director of Environmental Stewardship
at Chick-fil-A
Garrison provides leadership in the area of environmental stewardship at Chick-fil-A, Inc., a privately held quick-dining restaurant chain with 2011 revenues of over $4 billion. After working as an intern with Chick-fil-A while attending Auburn, Michael joined the organization full-time in 1993 as an Information Technology Analyst. Garrison joined the Marketing Department in June 2011 to head up Chick-fil-A’s Environmental Sustainability efforts.
An Atlanta native, Garrison received his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Auburn University and an MBA at Georgia State University. He has also completed executive programs at the University of Michigan and the Wharton School of Business.

Barry Abramson, P.E., LEED AP O+M
Senior Vice President
SCIenergy
Abramson has devoted his professional life to improving the energy efficiency, environmental impact and economic performance of buildings. As senior vice president of SCIenergy, he provides energy and sustainability consulting services for commercial and institutional facilities. Specializing for 30 years in this field, he has consulted for the California Energy Commission, Warner Bros. Studios, CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle, Cushman & Wakefield, RREEF, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and many other government and private sector organizations throughout the United States. He leads Servidyne’s partnership with ENERGY STAR® and has been involved in the program since its inception. He was principal investigator for a major ASHRAE research project on HVAC equipment service life and maintenance costs, the results of which were published in the ASHRAE Handbook. Abramson graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 1978. He is a registered professional engineer in 14 states and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Greg O’Brien, LEED® AP

With more than 23 years of commercial real estate experience as a landlord agent, tenant broker, development principal and investor, O'Brien has established himself as a strong proponent of third-party green building certification and the increased demand for "green" buildings and sustainability initiatives. Since being designated a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC in 2004, O'Brien has embraced sustainability initiatives related to commercial real estate and supported the creation of an operational and financial evaluation tool known as the LEED EBOM Audit. This Value of Green audit incorporates the costs and benefits of the many LEED related "green" alternatives to support enlightened investment and operational real estate decision making.

Charlie Cichetti, LEED AP BD+C, ID+C, O+M, Homes

Sustainable Investment Group
As a principal at Sustainable Investment Group, LLC (SIG), Cichetti has more than 11 years’ experience in commercial construction, real estate development, consulting, and project management, and has directed multi-million dollar office, warehouse, specialty and condo projects. Over the last few years of his career, there has been an avid focus on Existing Buildings, ENERGY STAR and LEED EBO&M. Currently, he oversees the sustainable consulting, training and LEED certification services for SIG’s Atlanta Office. SIG also has an office in Boulder, CO. Cichetti was one of the first professionals to hold multiple LEED credentials across all of the specialties. As LEED Trainers, Cichetti's team has helped more than 4,000 students prepare for the new LEED credential exams. More than a great teacher, he works in LEED every day on multiple projects and can draw upon real-world experience to teach the key concepts and practical skills you’ll need on your projects. SIG’s specialty services range from LEED GAP studies and LEED EBO&M Consulting through technical services like Energy Star Sign-Offs, Energy Audits, & Commissioning. Cichetti is active with BOMA-Atlanta.

Wayne Robertson, PE, LEED AP, CxA

Robertson specializes in LEED Consulting, building commissioning, and developing energy cost reduction programs. He has been in the energy industry since 1977, in both public and private sectors. Robertson is a LEED AP accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council since 2001, and has served as past chair of the Atlanta American Institute of Architect's Committee On The Environment and Principal’s Roundtable, and board officer for the Southeastern Energy Society and the Georgia Energy Services Coalition. He has more than 25 years experience in energy consulting: energy studies, performance contracting, facility condition assessments and engineering retrofit design. Robertson is a nationally-recognized speaker and writer on energy subjects. He spent 19 years with Heery International as director of energy engineering and founded Energy Ace, Inc. in 2002 to provide LEED(TM) consulting and energy cost reduction programs.

Tom Boeck, LEED AP
Principal
Sustainable Options, LLC
As principal of Sustainable Options, LLC, Boeck oversees the company’s entire consulting practice. With more than 25 years of experience in commercial construction and development, Boeck was a select member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Portfolio Committee, responsible for developing criteria for portfolio planning and standards for the implementation of “green” practices across multiple-building portfolios.
Boeck received his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Concordia University-Wisconsin. He has been a featured speaker, panelist, and participant for numerous national and regional conferences, including The Georgia Environmental Conference, RealShare Atlanta and DC, IFMA, GreenPrints Conference, Bisnow Atlanta and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Boeck has assisted in educating more than 200 commercial brokers via the multimedia presentations Green Buildings 101 and The Value of Green.

Kevin Butler
Vice President, Sales

A native of Georgia, Butler is vice president of sales for UgMO Technologies, Inc. Focusing on the continuing water issues that trouble cities, towns and businesses, Kevin and his team educate and demonstrate the advanced technology that only UgMO can offer businesses and individuals in their quest to conserve water, save money and ensure turf health. Kevin comes to UgMO after a 13 year career in the NFL and a successful business career serving as vice president of sales for Production Group International and director of business development for MM Systems.

Jacqui Heslep
Commercial Market Development Manager
LUTRON Electronics Co., Inc.
After moving from Canada to complete her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech, Heslep has been with Lutron for eight years. Currently, she is working in and around the Atlanta area to design and analyze solutions that decrease energy consumption with wireless technology to make it simple to retrofit existing buildings with occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting and lighting controls for an entire campus that can be managed from an iPad.

Lorry Jensen
Property Manager
TPA Realty Services, Inc.
Jensen has over 11 years of experience in commercial property management. Educated at Auburn University, she currently is the property manger of a Class-A, 376,693-square-foot office complex that includes a 12-story office tower and a 66,499 –square-foot trading and data center. She also manages a 851,349-square-foot industrial facility.

Brad McCahill, RPA, SMA, FMA, LEED® AP
Operations Manager
Wells Real Estate
McCahill is the regional operations manager for Wells Real Estate. located in Norcross, Ga. McCahill's career has spanned more than two decades with a start in Building Engineering in Hartford, CT circa 1982 and more than 14 years in the Atlanta market. He has primarily worked for property management companies in the operational side of the business. He has held all positions from Building Engineer, Chief Engineer to Regional Operations Manager. He was recognized as the Engineer of the Year in 2003 by BOMA-Atlanta and is a founding member of BOMA-Atlanta’s Technical Organization. McCahill’s expertise is in energy conservation measures, preventive maintenance of building systems and equipment as well as common sense approaches to operating commercial real estate.

Billie Hollifield, RPA, CCIM, LEED AP
Property Manager
Wells Real Estate
Hollifield is a Property Manager with Wells Real Estate. She manages a portfolio totaling 1.7 million square feet located in Georgia and Pennsylvania. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining positive relations with tenants and contractors, and ensuring that the properties are managed in accordance with the lease agreements and established levels of quality and profitability.
Hollified has over 12 years experience in commercial property management. Prior to joining Wells, she was employed as a Property Manager with Colonial Properties Trust. Hollifield was responsible for the management of Colonial Center at Mansell Overlook, a Class-A office park consisting of over 843,000 SF of office and over 49,000 SF of retail space. She began her property management career with Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Inc. |
